Pellet heating, PV system, solar system, electric charging stations: in 2022, we achieved a genuine energy transition. Since then, we have been covering 100% of our energy needs with renewable energies.

We use an electric car for business trips. Its car battery and a battery in the house serve as a large energy storage facility for the holiday kitchen, sauna, etc.

Our greenhouse gas balance has thus resulted in only 4 t of residual emissions = 0.8 kg per guest per night. An energy audit has certified that we could hardly do any better.

Traveling to the Allgäu region in your own electric car is no problem: you can recharge your vehicle with electricity from renewable energy sources at our two charging stations. With a power output of between 7 and 22 kW, you can conveniently recharge your car overnight or in just a few hours.

If you arrive by train, you can enjoy a VIP shuttle service to your vacation home. Travel light! We have most of what you need ready for you: from bed linen and towels to bicycles and sleds that are available from the house.

Take the bus from Schöllang towards Oberstdorf or Sonthofen. NEW to our region is the “MOBIL PASS ALLGÄU”:https://www.mobilpass-allgaeu.de/ : The public transport ticket is automatically added to your guest pass and takes you by bus or train from the mountains to Kempten or Lake Constance!

For discovery tours by bike: Our “partner in Gunzesried”:https://www.der-erad-verleih.de/ delivers your e-bikes directly to your door. Simply select and reserve online in advance – it couldn't be more convenient.

We have removed all disposable items from our apartments, except for good old kitchen roll. Nevertheless, guests will find everything they need for washing up.

When it comes to mixing bowls, cutting boards, and the like, we rely on durable, virtually indestructible materials. The most stylish change: circular soap dispensers that grate dry soap.

But nobody's perfect—feedback is always welcome!

Deluxe delivery service: Order your own organic box in advance and your shopping will be waiting for you in your vacation apartment when you arrive: e.g., organically grown, fresh food for a cozy dinner and breakfast together.

Bread roll service 7 days a week: Crispy bread rolls from the Allgäu baker – delivered to your apartment door every morning.
During a walk through the village, you will also discover other local producers: eggs, fresh milk, cheese, and sausage directly from the farm.

We try to make waste separation and disposal easy for you. We are happy to help prevent waste from being generated in the first place: why not try our excellent GRANDER water from the tap?

Old bread and stale rolls don't have to end up in the trash here. They are a delicacy for our neighbors' chickens —we collect them in a container in the trash room.

For spontaneous shopping trips, feel free to borrow shopping bags and boxes from the bicycle storage room.
